As explos\u00f5es ou erup\u00e7\u00f5es solares fazem parte da vida do nosso astro-rei. Regularmente, determinadas partes do sol explodem, emitindo grandes quantidades de radia\u00e7\u00e3o para os planetas que o circundam. E a Terra n\u00e3o fica de fora dessa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explos\u00f5es solares s\u00e3o bem comuns e podem n\u00e3o afetar a Terra, mas casos raros j\u00e1 conseguiram acabar com a telecomunica\u00e7\u00e3o de pa\u00edses e causaram danos graves \u00e0 economia<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na \u00faltima quinta-feira (15), a mancha solar AR2859, localizada regi\u00e3o norte da estrela, acabou explodindo e, segundo os cientistas, as part\u00edculas solares emitidas no fen\u00f4meno t\u00eam um endere\u00e7o certo: o nosso planeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caso atinja diretamente a Terra, a erup\u00e7\u00e3o pode causar alguns problemas. Por se tratar de uma emiss\u00e3o de tipo G1, considerada a mais fraca no grau das erup\u00e7\u00f5es solares, os efeitos que podem ser sentidos na terra s\u00e3o as auroras boreais, alguns problemas na circula\u00e7\u00e3o de aves migrat\u00f3rias, bem como a interrup\u00e7\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria de sat\u00e9lites de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e servi\u00e7os de energia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA maioria das erup\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o fracas e podem afetar um sat\u00e9lite um pouquinho e causar as auroras. Em casos extremos, elas afetariam nossos aparelhos e as telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es. Mas erup\u00e7\u00f5es com intensidade mais alta s\u00e3o mais raras\u201d, <\/em>explica Thiago Signorini, professor da UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) e coordenador da Sociedade Brasileira de Astronomia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entretanto, elas podem acontecer. Em 1989, a cidade de Vancouver, no Oeste do Canad\u00e1, ficou em um blecaute por dias sem eletricidade ou sinal de r\u00e1dio por conta de uma tempestade solar. Em 1859, a regi\u00e3o que vai do Hava\u00ed at\u00e9 Cuba ficou sem energia por semanas por conta de uma erup\u00e7\u00e3o desse tipo. O custo estimado de uma erup\u00e7\u00e3o desse tipo seria de at\u00e9 2,6 bilh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mas, para essa semana, talvez seu sinal do 4G fique um pouco inst\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
