Procedimento realizado em Belo Horizonte ou Divin\u00f3polis tinha fila de espera de cerca de dois anos<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade informou que zerou a fila de cateterismo card\u00edaco na cidade. Os procedimentos, normalmente realizados em Divin\u00f3polis ou Belo Horizonte, eram aguardados por muitos dos pacientes h\u00e1 cerca de dois anos.
Por meio de um cateter (tubo pl\u00e1stico extremamente fino e flex\u00edvel), introduzido na art\u00e9ria do bra\u00e7o ou perna, e levado at\u00e9 o cora\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel diagnosticar e\/ou tratar doen\u00e7as que acometem este importante \u00f3rg\u00e3o humano. Dados da Sociedade Brasileira de Cardiologia mostram que, somente neste ano, mais de 362 mil pessoas j\u00e1 morreram por doen\u00e7as do cora\u00e7\u00e3o no pa\u00eds at\u00e9 o momento.
De acordo com o secret\u00e1rio municipal de Sa\u00fade, Fernando Meira, “os cuidados com o cora\u00e7\u00e3o independem da idade e s\u00e3o extremamente importantes para a sa\u00fade como um todo. Isto inclui boa alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, praticar atividades f\u00edsicas e ter sempre h\u00e1bitos saud\u00e1veis de vida.
