Os desafios da internet podem ser t\u00e3o conhecidos quanto perigosos, principalmente por atra\u00edrem usu\u00e1rios mais jovens das redes sociais, sobretudo adolescentes e crian\u00e7as, que muitas vezes n\u00e3o avaliam os riscos que correm ao participar daquilo que acham ser apenas uma “brincadeira”. Agora, a trend que est\u00e1 se formando \u00e9 a de “fumar cotonete” – isso mesmo: a pr\u00e1tica consiste em acender um ponto da haste flex\u00edvel e “tragar” a fuma\u00e7a que sai pelo outro lado. Se isso parece inimagin\u00e1vel, saiba que a moda j\u00e1 tem adeptos no Tik Tok em pa\u00edses como Portugal, Fran\u00e7a e Brasil, mas vai al\u00e9m da rede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo a publica\u00e7\u00e3o francesa Le Point e a lusitana S\u00e1bado, nas cidades portuguesas de Lisboa e Cascais o h\u00e1bito j\u00e1 se nota nas escolas. A ideia n\u00e3o \u00e9 nova, por\u00e9m – no YouTube, por exemplo, h\u00e1 v\u00eddeos antigos ensinando ou mostrando a pr\u00e1tica. E se o desafio ainda n\u00e3o ganhou a propor\u00e7\u00e3o que pode tomar, essa \u00e9 a hora de ter aten\u00e7\u00e3o ao que os filhos consomem na internet, alertando-os sobre os perigos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Esse \u00e9 um tipo de ‘brincadeira’ que a gente v\u00ea cada vez mais por conta da curiosidade dos adolescentes ou das crian\u00e7as em copiar o estilo dos adultos, ent\u00e3o eles os veem fumando – seja cigarro [comum] ou eletr\u00f4nico – e acabam procurando em casa alguma coisa que possa se aproximar disso”, pontua Caroline Peev, pediatra e coordenadora do Pronto-Socorro do Hospital Sabar\u00e1 Infantil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A m\u00e9dica alerta ainda para as poss\u00edveis consequ\u00eancias da pr\u00e1tica. “Al\u00e9m da intoxica\u00e7\u00e3o por aspirar a fuma\u00e7a produzida pela queima do algod\u00e3o e do pl\u00e1stico, pode gerar queimaduras na boca, nos dedos, nas narinas e nos pelos nasais. Ainda pode desencadear uma crise de asma ou bronquite, pois serve como um estimulador, e tamb\u00e9m crises de rinite com tosse e espirros, gerando um quadro al\u00e9rgico”, explica, ressaltando a import\u00e2ncia de desencorajar os jovens, falando sobre esses efeitos, que podem ser imediatos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sabendo que essa pr\u00e1tica existe, vale ter aten\u00e7\u00e3o no dia a dia da crian\u00e7a e do adolescente, j\u00e1 que eles podem ir al\u00e9m do desafio pontual da internet – o que \u00e9 ainda mais prejudicial. Brunna Santana, pneumologista do Grupo Prontobaby, refor\u00e7a que o cotonete pode trazer ainda mais malef\u00edcios do que um cigarro comum, j\u00e1 que as subst\u00e2ncias t\u00f3xicas s\u00e3o inaladas sem qualquer controle. Em casos graves de inflama\u00e7\u00e3o de vias a\u00e9reas com insufici\u00eancia respirat\u00f3ria aguda, a m\u00e9dica afirma que pode levar at\u00e9 a \u00f3bito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em agosto deste ano, Archie Battersbee, garoto brit\u00e2nico de 13 anos, foi encontrado inconsciente ap\u00f3s participar de um desafio que consistia em ficar o maior tempo poss\u00edvel sem respirar ao se estrangular. Ele acabou tendo morte cerebral e os aparelhos que o mantinham vivo no hospital foram desligados meses depois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certamente, esses n\u00e3o s\u00e3o os \u00fanicos desafios absurdos da internet e n\u00e3o ser\u00e3o os \u00faltimos. O importante, sempre, \u00e9 conversar com os filhos e manter um canal de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o aberto com eles, alertando para os riscos, permanecendo atento ao comportamento deles e, na medida do poss\u00edvel e de acordo com cada idade, monitorando o que acessam na internet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
